The idea of having an efficient transportation network which is successful in terms of reducing urban congestion as well as helping the environment by promoting environment welfare as carbon emissions will be lowered meaning both, the urban life and the species of this planet remain live and sustainable.
The Idea is very innovative and as seen by successful examples such as Uber, the transportation company, given by the infrastructure for a different means of transportation, namely bikes, this has great success. It is economical as the investment is just in the taxi bikes and this way more jobs are created in an urban area. Also looking at the congestion, even on the highways, it is very likely to be supported by the government, at the same time promotes the use of biking even further.
The limitation lies within the productivity, whereby the urban environment is very crowded and more bike taxis will be needed by the network in order to fulfil all demand, it is very beneficial for the environment, however the existing bikers will also challenged as the utilisation of bike paths will increase. Lastly, the funding required is substantially expensive and therefore in short-term be costly.
